New construction is exciting. But there's a checklist of details that need to happen before a home is truly done - and gutters are one of them. Not just for looks, but for protecting everything the builder just put in place.
On this home in Milaca, we installed a full 5" gutter system with 3x3 color matched downspouts. The color coordination is something we take seriously. When the downspouts blend with the siding, the whole exterior looks intentional and put-together rather than like an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Drainage is the other half of the story. A properly sized 5" system moves significantly more water than a standard 4" setup - which matters a lot on a home with longer rooflines. Getting the pitch right, the outlet placement dialed in, and the downspouts directed away from the foundation - that's where the real work is.
Finishing details on a new build have a way of either pulling everything together or falling flat. Clean gutter lines that match the exterior color palette do exactly what they're supposed to - they disappear into the home's design while quietly doing their job every time it rains.
This is the kind of work that doesn't get a lot of attention, but homeowners notice when it's done right. And builders notice too.
